About the Event
Spring Time Self Growth
Spring time brings bushes extending their branches, seeds sprouting from the ground, and buds popping into bloom. We go through a similar cycle and spring gives us that same opportunity for self growth. At this event we will go through a guided meditation about spring and the tree of life. We will then get our hands in the dirt as we fill a recycled bottle with earth, plant a baby spider plant thats ready to grow its own roots, place a moss agate with it, and seal it with love. The time will allow us to reflect on what our nurturing needs are to grow ourselves. After we get a chance to share and let our thoughts settle in we will go to the canvas where Jennifer will inspire everyone to paint the tree of life or anything else we feel guided to paint. While painting each person will get pulled one at a time for a personalized one on one card reading by Michele Lefler, focusing our chakras and connectedness to the tree of life. As we wrap up we will perform a salt bowl ceremony where we will set our intentions on nurturing our self growth. Everyone will get to add an offering to the bowl that represents nurturing growth (oils, buds, herbs, plants, beans, written words shredded up, etc) and everyone will get to leave with some of the salt infused with all the intentions. Be inspired to have a growth spurt of spring growth!

Jennifer is a compassionate inspiration to create a life you love. It is important to her to hold space for others to feel appreciated, supported, inspired, and optimistic. She is the sole proprietor of Holistic Hearts, where she offers a variety of holistic healing services. Along her path she has become a Reiki Master Teacher, a certified reflexologist, a registered yoga teacher (RYT200), and an artist. She has strengthened her skills by pursuing and practicing ReikiSound, animal Reiki, animal communication, crystal Reiki, art therapy, color therapy, henna art, and spiritual healing. She is actively seeking more knowledge and experience with life coaching, Ayurveda, and exploring deeper in yoga and therapeutic art. She is learning through her own experiences and under mentors to better connect with others in private sessions, social gatherings, workshops and retreats. Jennifer is grateful for all the tools she has on hand to utilize with her own healing and share to with others.
Jennifer’s own life has its challenges in which she feels are important life lessons. Gradually loosing her eyesight to Stargardts (a hereditary form of macular degeneration) she has received a different perspective about the world she sees. Though she is losing her eyesight, she is strengthening her vision. She and her husband homeschool their two sets of twins in what they have called, “Elements of Life Academy.” As a family they have fun, imagine, create, study and practice the “one heart way” through Isshinryu karate, learn life lessons, address their individual needs, build confidence and awareness, embark on family adventures, explore nature, and always remind each other that everyone has a story. Jennifer believes there are opportunities every day to create a life you love.
As a child, Michele had an intense pain in her heart whenever she saw someone suffering- whether actual or perceived suffering. As she grew older, she spent many years hardening herself and turning away from her empathic response. Over the past several years, after embracing her path and understanding of an empath, she has cultivated a life of returning to her tender-hearted nature. At the same time she was turning away from her true nature, Michele was also focused on a path of pure intellect and driven nature. It was her goal to feel or to heal, but to constantly seek to do more. She was doing everything in her power to kill her feminine nature and elevate the masculine qualities within herself. In December 2017, Michele suffered a major health crisis and ended up having heart surgery- at 37. She was just so run down that she experienced a freak complication from a virus and ended up with pericardial effusion- a buildup of fluid within the sac surrounding the heart. Thankfully the surgery was routine, and after eight days in the hospital she was able to return home. That health crises alerted her to the need to get serious about slowing down and being more mindful of her body and mental health. Michele had been practicing meditation for several years, but did not yet have a routine practice. While her practice is still not what she wants it to be she is striving to improve daily.
Michele’s goal with Living Moon Meditation is to help others create a calm and meaningful life. She offers the tools you need to slow down, breath, grieve in balance, and just live. If you have been seeking a lifestyle of peace, contentment, and healing, the Living Moon Meditation is for you.
